Background

A health care institution wished to launch a physician leadership development program. The program would increase physician business skills, as well as promote networking among physicians and executive's. The target audience, executives and physicians, sought to improve leadership and strategic management skills, as well as increase their influence and collaboration skills.

Goals

  • To incorporate a structured learning experience that would assist physicians in optimizing their leadership capabilities

Approach

  • Assistance with initial conceptualization of physician leadership development program structure
  • Leadership Development program presentations on topics such as running effective meetings, change management, and teambuilding

  • Improved realization of organizational goals in development of individuals in decision-making capacities
